We approach each project as a team and with respect for all involved.  Although we are full on integrity and hard word, we really like to have fun.

Our Story

Brandon Berman, the founder and director of Storage Room Productions had a successful web design, video production and training business. During the time Brandon owned his own business he received several awards such as

  • 06/03 Best Large District Website, Special District Association
  • 05/01 Certificate of Excellence, Dynamics Research Corporation
  • 03/01 Distinguished, International Competition of the Society for Technical Communication
  • 02/01 Best of Show, Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication

Brandon eventually joined the world of higher ed when he was hired at a local college as the director of the Multimedia Graphic Design department. Brandon received awards such as “Master Teacher of the Year 2017” and “Outstanding Faculty of the Year 2008”. In addition to teaching and running a department Brandon innovated an initiative to create a partnership with Apple and develop the first Colorado iTunes U site. He put on annual Student Film Festival that attracted over 200 people and showcased students’ work. He presented at many conferences. He also started the video program at the college and developed curriculum including a new unprecedented course that was accepted by the State of Colorado. It consisted of two semesters that focused on one large-scale documentary project, simulated a real-world production house and resulted in four full-length documentaries. The films all had several screenings on PBS and were shown at film festivals and theaters. The first documentary was made into a DVD and was given to all public high schools in Colorado to be used as a historical resource. That documentary focused on women’s roles in combat and combat support in the military. It included interviews with 10 women from all the major conflicts starting from WWII. The film was commissioned by Congressman Perlmutter and was induced into the Library of Congress. As a result, we received multiple grants from the Colorado Office of Film and Television Media.  Three of the four films received awards.

Storage Room Productions is currently making short promos for clients and is currently working on a documentary project.  Most of the crew consist of former students, instructors and people who are presently working in the field.
